Scam/Warnings of GeniusFunds.com - HYIP

Thank you for all your hard research on Genius funds, gideonosa. I feel I've stayed hopeful and stupid long enough hoping that Genius Funds comes back. After reading your post, it's not likely.

The only good part for me was that I was playing with house money. I received good returns on my initial investment of $2000.00. I got that back and and a lot more for over a year. I guess at that time GF was trying to suck everyone in for the kill. I reinvested again when maturity was reached in December 09, with money I had earned with GF, I took out some to have a good Xmas and reinvested the rest, not much, and that's what was lost now.

I had a strange feeling GF was going to fall, but with all the good returns I just couldn't pull out. I'm glad I only put in a little bit and I feel for others who has lost more. I guess nothing really last forever.

Also, gideonosa, while part of your research may be accurate, if you had bothered to read the full threads here you would know that they have been keeping their twitter up to date, and that the site has been down for a week, not a day.

Since they have been down for a week with no payments it's obvious that monitoring sites will put them down as not paying.

People relax a little, there's only 4 days to go until they said the site would be back up.

Hi Alphastar,
I like your confidence. I am also optimistic about GF, but what happens after Monday and they are still not up? Will this confidence we hold only be good for Monday and not a day beyond it? This is my first investment with them (they went down 2 weeks after I deposited so I didn't get the benefit of there works) and since it was a very impressive referral from my friend I didn't test it-- I invested 4 figures too and am wondering how I would get this back if they aren't back. I plan on investing with Genius even if this takes another week to get back, as long as they honor the current investors and they HAVE to do a better job communicating with us.

And 'gideonosa': how do we go about retrieving our funds back- is it a hard process if the funds were bank wired?

hi Silkjnaithan,

Gideonosa actually called their support line and they informed her that the site won't be back up until the end of next week.

To me this is acceptable, since I was surprised that they would be back in such a short time with such a big task.

In all, as I understanding, they are reprogramming the entire website, changing hosting, and moving the domain to a new ddos protection provider. It's not something that can be done in 1 or 2 days, a week is unlikely, though 2 weeks is perfectly plausible.

So for now I'm happy to wait for them to return and continue investing with them.

Another company who has been around a while is infinitiva, they also hold my complete confidence. You can find they're link in my hyip's below.

Hugmoney is on standby right now as it seems to be having issues but isn't as time proven as GF or infinitiva.

Thank You Alphastar. I hold faith that they will be up. I am also invested in HugMoney so I am quickly learning the process of HYIP's, my only concern is that as soon as I invested with these two, they started having problems with the site so I didn't get the benefit of earning a profit first but I will be patient and trusting for now.

In 'Genius Funds News' On 20th March 2010

Morning everyone,

Mixed reports still coming in from users. There seems to be a lot of expectation that something will happen this coming Monday.

Some users are claiming to have been exchanging emails to and from Mark Stelvio via email and Gmail chat. This has raised concern as to whether the email address is in fact that of Mark Stelvio and not someone simply impersonating him.

MarketingMaster has confirmed his email address as being correct. He writes:

"No it is Mark..I have spoken with him before years ago as well as anytime I have had a serious issue that I felt Panos couldn't respond too. And yes, I have been speaking with Mark all morning too."

Limeno has also been in touch with Mark via Gmail Chat:

"Mark: Dear sir
Genius Funds won't accept any investors from Canada anymore even if they use bank accounts which are not in Canada - Sent at 1:07 PM on Saturday

Me: o.k. nice that this matter is closed. So when will be online, on monday again?

Mark: yes sir, all withdrawals will processed then

Me: last one: when on monday - do You have any timeframe and do You think that web link will be strong enough to cope with all investors want to log in

Mark: yes sir our website will cope with it rest assured. Website will be accessible on Monday 7 GMT"

Another of our GoldArena.net members has reported the following:

"Hi there - I have just a moment to post that I actually called Price Waterhouse late last night [11 pm my time was 8 am their time]- they are in the same building as genius funds.

I asked if genius funds was still in the same building - it was hard to understand the accent of the gal who answered the phone but she said "oh yes, yes - genius funds is on 3rd floor" - hopefully they will come back by this coming monday as they indicated to me on a recent online chat. time will tell."

Finally, another email received by a member from Mark Stelvio.

"Hey Guys and Gals,

I had responded to Mr. Stelvio's initial email that I posted with some additional comments, and he emailed me back again:

Don't rush into a panic guys, they said monday, they didn't say when on monday. Personally, I was expecting it not to be back on until next friday, so not too worried, these things take time.

Well, it's Monday today and there have been no signs of Genius Funds. Rumours were that their website was to come online today at 7am GMT. It's obvious that this has not happened.

There are yet more reports of users who are calling Price Waterhouse Coopers being told that Genius Funds are no longer in the building.

..And still with no official communication from GF makes us feel that things are not looking too good.

Other than this, we have no other news to report so far.

We'll keep you updated if we hear anything else,
